HELP (again)

I'm Back!!!! Pathetic, I know. But I haven't had any trouble with any of the challenges in this game until now. Starfox Adventures: Dinosaur Planet, I am on the cloud runner trying to protect him and also take out the spires. I must be a really lousy shot or something. Any hints? Anything I may not be trying? Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated . . . Thanks!

Seriously, that's what I did, didn't have to aim all that good when the screen was filled with fire...
